Dr. Mustafa Akyurek is an associate professor of surgery at the University of Massachusetts Medical School and a cosmetic and plastic surgeon at UMass Memorial Medical Center. He also serves as the director of microsurgery for the Medical School’s Plastic Surgery Program.

He graduated from Hacettepe University Medical School in Ankara, Turkey, where he also completed a residency in plastic and reconstructive surgery and received his PhD in reconstructive microsurgery.
